Proactive Elevator Services was founded to deliver a higher standard of elevator maintenance and repair—one that prioritizes preventive work, fast response, and documentation you can act on.
Proactive Elevator Services was started in 2025 by a 25 year Industry Veteran who has worked in all areas of the industry, from the field to managing an office branch with multiple mechanics in various departments. With decades of working knowledge in service, new installations, repairs, and modernization, he and his team draw on that experience to provide top-tier service to the Mountain Communities in which they live.
From routine maintenance visits to complex troubleshooting and modernization upgrades, our team works with a single goal: reduce downtime and help you plan confidently for the long term.
Our Industry
The elevator industry is notoriously expensive because it is a highly specialized blend of complex engineering, strict safety regulations, and massive overhead. First, meeting stringent municipal safety codes requires premium materials and rigorous quality testing for machinery that transports thousands of lives daily. Second, because of the high-risk nature of working with heavy, moving machinery, elevator contractors face some of the highest commercial liability and workers’ compensation insurance premiums of any trade, driving up baseline operational costs.
Finally, the market is dominated by a small handful of major manufacturers, which limits competition and gives them massive pricing power over proprietary parts and maintenance. To shield our clients from these compounding expenses, we utilize non-proprietary equipment. By keeping components open-market and accessible, we keep our own maintenance risk and insurance liabilities manageable, allowing us to pass those substantial savings directly to you over the lifespan of your building.
